Amsterdam and Chicago Marathons

Dr Bethan Miles, a friend of Katie’s from Manchester University, where they both played netball for the university, ran a remarkable two marathons – Amsterdam and Chicago – in one week for KHMT.

Bethan says: “It’s very difficult to believe that Katie is no longer with us. She ran two marathons for charity herself, and was always asking me about my running. I was very proud to run in her memory. The memory of her amazing energy inspired me to keep going.”
